Customer Service is our priority and Planning is a very important part of this process.
Nuneaton Roof Truss use the Mitek Software Business System to help plan their work flow.
We know how important it is that building sites run smoothly and that the correct product is on site at the required time. Our lead times for Posi-Joists is 2-3 weeks as a standard and roof trusses can be manufactured to a similar time scale once approval has been given to our designs. However, we pride ourselves on being flexible, and where product is required on a faster turn-around, we will do all we can to meet your deadline.
Once an enquiry is received, we will endeavour to return a price within a maximum of ten working days, if not faster. If our price is of interest and an order is placed on us, we then proceed to design drawings for which we will require an approval from our customer. Once approval is gained, then planning for manufacture can begin.

Nuneaton Roof Truss headquarters is a 30,000 sq ft factory, giving us essential manufacturing space, yard storage as well as providing ideal access to the M1, M5 and M6 road links.
A Depaw Saw and Stavelse Press (the first of its kind in the UK) combined with Truss Jigs and Saws provide the comprehensive range of equipment required to ensure accuracy and efficiency during every step of the production process.
Mitek Design Software, plates and Simpson Strong-Tie for metalwork also play essential parts in the process. The team are fully trained to use Pamir Design Software, providing value engineered solutions for both roof and floor design. Design files are transferred directly to the Depaw Saw for cutting and then onto the Stavelse Press for manufacturing, saving considerable amounts of paperwork and ensuring accuracy.
DISPATCH & DELIVERY
Nuneaton Roof Truss supply roof trusses and joists nationwide using our own transport as well as trusted contracted hauliers.
We keep our customer updated on our progress and agree on a mutually convenient time for us to deliver to site. We operate both rigid and artic vehicles so can accommodate the often strict delivery guidelines that are set upon us.
Our ‘site pack’ provides comprehensive details on unloading our products, both mechanically, which we will always recommend, and also manually.
All our drivers are trained to the latest standards and all carry the necessary PPE with them at all times. Our contracted hauliers are audited on a regular basis, and work within the set guidelines that we impose on them.
Whilst we keep any packaging to a minimum to avoid additional waste on site, there are recommendations to which we follow.
The EUTR stipulates that joists need adequate wrapping, therefore all our joist packs are bound and then wrapped with a clear file to provide some protection on site prior to being installed. Our joists are clearly marked both on the outside of the pack, and each joist individually to match the drawings we supply following approval of design.
Trusses are banded inappropriate truss marks, dependent on weight. Loose timber is also banded and marked clearly by plot. All our metalwork is supplied in white strong nylon bags, and again clearly marked.
